Beside the natural beauty of the island there are also many cultural attractions including the old town of Taormina, a city with a long history, with churches and theaters. Furthermore, Syracuse is one of the most famous cities left from the ancient Greek world.
The island Marettimo and the magical nature reserve "Lo Zingaro" are definitely for those who want to enjoy unspoiled places far from the mass tourism. In particular, the Gole dell 'Alcantara is worth a visit, a beautiful gorge that enchants every tourist. For the children the water park Etnaland is recommended, which lies 5 km away from the apartment.
